I am all about sharing resources and things I believe will help our tribe here. I recently previewed this resource for Moms & Tween Daughters. I can’t tell you the amount of emails and messages I get from Moms asking for resources and help. While I truly believe we somewhat understand what our daughters are facing and feeling, we did not grow up in the social media generation where there are endless critics and immense pressure on our girls to measure up.

 

Treasured, A 6 Session Experience For Moms & Tween Daughters is an interactive experience for mothers and daughters. Each topic speaks into major things young girls are facing and offers new ways to talk about these things and connect with our daughters. Our daughters will hear from young ladies who they can relate to and will help them feel less alone.

Why I recommend this as a resource as a Mom and former youth leader:

This is where our girls live, these are the topics we see our girls struggling with on a daily basis. We feel each heartbreak and often feel helpless; Treasured is a wonderful resource that covers all the major things but on a tween level and offers really good talking points.

Included is leader instructions and tips, discussion questions, Mom and Daughter Challenges, and also has a companion journal along with the DVD.

Each seven-minute video features two younger ladies our daughter will connect with. In this busy world, it’s hard to have the bandwidth and time, but this resource is short and to the point. The journal guides them through the topics with just enough information along with places to write and journal.
